Don Bosco Vazhikaatti (DBV), established on 17th September 1997, is a model center for all Salesian Provinces across India. Dedicated to empowering young individuals, DBV helps children and youth make informed career choices and provides skill training for those seeking employment. As a bridge between job seekers and employers, DBV plays a crucial role in workforce development by equipping underprivileged youth with essential skills and career guidance. Committed to uplifting and inspiring young minds, DBV fosters an optimistic learning environment that nurtures both professional and personal growth.

Vision

Don Bosco Vazhikaatti is to guide, lead, and empower underprivileged youth by fostering a positive attitude, providing essential skills and knowledge, and instilling social value systems rooted in faith in God, ensuring they become honest citizens and achieve a joyful career and a meaningful life.

Objective

To introduce students of corporation & Government Schools to the wide array of
occupations, including new jobs created in this ever-changing world-of-work.
To deepen students’ understanding of self and relate schooling to different education and
career pathways.
To enable students to gather information from various sources to make informed
educational and career decisions, to learn how to:
To focus on the need to understand the importance of Personal, Social & Job Skills to
achieve his / her own goals and how to merge them together to be effective in his/her
career.
Effective and satisfactory handling of Job Interviews.
