(Tiruvallur, India) – The Don Bosco Youth Centre, Pannur, marked a significant milestone in its mission of youth empowerment by organizing its first Football Tournament on April 12 and 13, 2025. The two-day event transformed the grounds of Pannur into a vibrant arena of energy, sportsmanship, and celebration, as 22 teams from across Tamil Nadu gathered to compete for the coveted championship.

After a series of thrilling and intense matches, the Don Bosco Youth Centre Broadway team emerged as the champions, proudly lifting the tournament trophy. The event also honoured individual brilliance on the field with special awards for Best Forward, Best Half Back, Best Defender, Best Goalkeeper, and Top Scorer. Each awardee was recognized with a trophy, celebrating their exceptional talent, skill, and dedication.
The closing ceremony was a joyful and proud occasion, graced by past pupils, teachers, retired educators, community leaders, and other patrons of the Centre. Their presence highlighted the strong sense of community and shared commitment to Don Bosco’s vision of creating a nurturing and empowering environment for young people.
