The animation for Thurumbar Thulir, Arani was conducted on the topic: Memory Techniques and time Management during exam days, on March 1. Children who are studying class 6 and above were one group, and the others were another group. Three techniques were taught to them – Association, Imagination and Concept Mapping.
SAGAI – Bagalur
Social action or social change is an important topic to be discussed among the young people. As lot of injustice and human rights violations are happening in the society. They lead the society to the destruction. Destruction of nature and the lives of the animals and humans that depend upon the nature for their survival. The animation at SAGAI, Bagalur on March 10, 2018 was about Changing the Society through the Social Media which is the effective medium in the society. Few guidelines were also given to the students about the right way of using the social media for social change.
Children Focus Centre, Vettavalam
Children’s Focus Centre is a night school which is being run by a young social worker from Vettavalam, Thiruvannamalai District. It was the initiative of this social worker who has started his mission for the children who are studying in governments schools in around Vettavalam. The animation on March 7, 2018 was on Study Methodologies for the students as they are preparing for their exams. Association and memorizing and memorizing through imagination were taught to them.
Thurumbar Thulir, Gingee
Every month one camp is being conducted for the children from Thurumbar community. The number of students who turn up for the camp is increasing every month. This month the camp was conducted on the topic: Time Management and Study Method, on March 18, 2018. Some basic tips to write their exams were taught to them. Also, to manage their time well during exam was also taught to them.

The animation on March 17, 2018 was about changing the society, changing the society through the social media which is the effective medium in the society. Few guidelines were also given to the students about the right way of using the social media for social change.

At the Children’s Focus Centre the animation for the children was on learning methods, held on March 25, 2018. Though there are many learning methods it might differ from one student to the other. Association is one of the common learning method which is being used by many students. Imagination and learning is another method effective methods for slow learners and concept mapping, this method is used to learn difficult concepts and theories.
Govt. Residential School, Villupuram
As suggested by the Provincial, the DBSARC started to reach out to the non Salesian institutions which require assistance. It was two days of residential programme for the students on March 19 and 20, 2018 The different types of teaching and learning method was taught to the children as well as to the staff. Most of the learning methods were based on games and activities.
