Teaching them from their life’s experiences
The students of Class 9 of St. Joseph’s Higher Secondary School, Pavunjur were given a training session, animated by Mr. Stephen Raj, on Personality Development and Research. Many practical tips were given to the students, to maintain or to develop a better personality. Instead discussing many theories, teaching them from their life’s experiences was something very good for the students. Since it was smaller group it was easy convey the needed messages and for better participation.
At the request of the Youth Director of Pavunjur parish and the Parish priest, a survey was conducted among the youth. The objective of this study was to find out the status of the available resources in the villages of the parish and to make use of those resources for good of the youth. With help of the local volunteers, the data collection was done successfully among the 47 youth of the parish.
