Don Bosco Trophy, U17, at the South India Level was conducted at Don Bosco Higher Secondary School, Perambur Chennai from 24^th to 26^th of March 2022. There were sixteen teams from six States of India namely Tamil Nadu, Pondicherry, Kerala, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana who participated in the tournament. Of the sixteen, seven were from Chennai and the other nine from other states. Shri. Aadav Arjuna, General Secretary of Tamil Nadu Olympic Association and Shri. N.S Kannan, Superintendent of Corporation of Chennai, were the Chief Guests and they both inaugurated the tournament on 24^th of March 2022.

The final match was between Don Bosco, Perambur, Chennai and LIFFA, Kerala. For the final match, our former Indian Player Shri. Raman Vijayan, the Chief Guest of the day honoured the occasion. In the final, Don Bosco Perambur won the Trophy and LIFFA, Kerala was awarded the runner up. There were several other prizes awarded for the best player, the best defender, the best goal keeper and the best upcoming player. A word of special appreciation to all the teams that participated and Fr. Antonyraj, the Rector and the Correspondent, Fr. Stephen Joseph, the Head Master for hosting such great event in our campus, with greater emphasis on Don Bosco’s playground spirituality.
