Motivation for Social Action

Social action is required in a community or a state where there is injustice and inequality. It is to resolve this injustice and inequality, that an animation for 160 students of Don Bosco Hr. Sec. School, Gedilam was held on November 11, 2017, with the motive of encouraging them to know more about the subject.

The topics discussed during this session were: The constitutional right to be treated as equal; The structure of the society; The poor farmers who are abandoned both by the people and by the government; The government policies that are not in favour of the people.

The intention of the animation was to motivate students to be more involved in the society. Being the group of younger students, some of these concepts were too heavy for them to understand. But it served as an introduction to the need for social action.
