On the evening of December 18, 2023, the Peace and Harmony Club at Don Bosco Arts and Science College embarked on a heartwarming journey to spread joy and goodwill. The event, aptly titled "Jingle Hopes," took place at Don Bosco Beatitudes in Vyasarpadi, where our students came together to celebrate the true spirit of Christmas with the children of the orphanage. The entire evening was a testament to the dedication and compassion of our club members, the tireless efforts of our coordinators, and the unwavering support of our institution. Our charismatic Club President, Godson (II BCom General), served as the master of ceremonies and set the stage for an unforgettable night.

The melodious choir, accompanied by Godson’s musical talent, filled the air with the timeless tunes of Christmas carols, creating an atmosphere of serenity and joy. Student Divakar (II BCom General) brought an element of dynamic fun to the celebration, leading the children in a jubilant dance that perfectly embodied the festive spirit. The beatboxing skills of student Hemanth (II BCom CS) added an electrifying energy that resonated through the entire gathering. Student Miguel (II BA English) showcased his thespian talents with a captivating monoacting performance, leaving a lasting impression on the audience.

Meanwhile, student Paul Isaac (II BCom CS) shared an inspirational story that wove hope and resilience into the fabric of the season, reminding us all of the true meaning of Christmas. The evening also featured engaging competitions for the children, promoting camaraderie and friendly competition.

The anticipation in the air as winners were announced was palpable, and the joy on the children’s faces was heartwarming. The grand finale of the evening was an enchanting portrayal of Santa Claus by student Hemanth (II BCom CS). His entertaining antics and the distribution of prizes created a magical atmosphere that will surely be cherished in the hearts of the young attendees. As the program concluded, a heartfelt vote of thanks resounded through the venue, acknowledging the collective effort that made “Jingle Hopes” a resounding success. A final Christmas carol served as a harmonious farewell, leaving a lingering sense of warmth and joy. The night concluded with the distribution of delectable snacks, symbolizing the culmination of a memorable evening filled with laughter, camaraderie, and the true spirit of Christmas. As our students bid adieu to Don Bosco Beatitudes in Vyasarpadi, they carried with them the satisfaction of having shared the gift of happiness and goodwill during this festive season. We extend our gratitude to everyone who supported and participated in this wonderful event. Let’s continue to spread peace, harmony, and goodwill throughout the year.
