Inauguration of Theological Reflection 2019-2020 @ DBTC, Kavarapettai

Becchi Don Bosco community had the privilege of Inaugurating the Theological Reflection on 18 th June 2019 as the first event of this academic year. Guest Speaker, Fr. Sahayaraj Stanley SJ, Director of Studies, Arul Kadal, Jesuit Regional Theological Centre spoke on Christian Responsibility in the Post-Election Scenario.

    He briefed about the post truth to indicate the present situation of post- Election India. Our Christian responds demands a clear understanding of who a good citizen is. He then proposed practical model to our Christian responsibility in this alarming situation of India. (i) Education of our students and people about the richness of our Indian constitution that upholds secularism and democracy. (ii) Theology of the cross against the theology of the world. (iii) Hope against despair. The inauguration program which started at 2:30 p.m. ended at 4:00 p.m. with a Hymn to Don Bosco.
