Following the presidential address, six undergraduate association presidents and two post graduate association presidents presented their annual plan. The plans of the associations varied from organising various inter- intra collegiate events like TOWER, BOSCON, BOSLIT, RHO, MEST to international conferences like ICCP. Dr. Thirumurugan’s (Guest of honour) honorary address presided over the association plans and he revealed his nostalgic experiences in Sacred Heart College and insisted the students to make use of all the opportunities given to them by the institution.
The programme started with an honorary flag march by the twenty nine student leaders which symbolized their role in leading the student community of the institution. The programme began with a serene prayer song and traditional welcome address and lamp lighting ceremony. Rev. Fr. Principal gave the presidential address and the address centred on the core values of our institution and also the importance given to the extension activities of the college. He stressed on the need for the student community to get involved in all the activities and horn their skills.
