In a outpouring gesture of compassion, the staff members and the Salesian community of Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur donated Rupees 10 Lakhs towards the welfare and education of four girls who lost their parents to the second wave of COVID-19. Pratheekha (8), Lakshana (6) and Keerthika (5) lost their father Mr. Sivakumar who was working as administrative staff while Pranavi (8) lost her mother Mrs. Kalaiarasi who was working as Assistant Professor. The College also issued an appointment order to Sivakumar's wife Mrs. Ranjitha as lab assistant on compassionate grounds.
