Fr. Cassius &Fr. Bosco professed 25 years ago,the mottos ‘To receive and to reflect His light’ and ‘He has made me His own’ respectively. The Jubilee began with a solemn Holy Eucharist at 11.00 a.m., thanking the Lord for God’s faithfulness in their life of religious commitment. Fr. K.V. Abraham SDB, while preaching the homily said, “Any jubilee is never failing fidelity of God and responded by ever failing fidelity of the jubilarians.” And he added “We remember many good things God has done to and through the jubilarians to so many young people. This celebration calls all to give faithfully into the hands of God for His work.”

After the Holy Eucharist, the community felicitated the Jubilarians with a short cultural programme.Fr. Bellarmine Fernando, the Rector, congratulated and appreciated them for their fidelity to the Salesian religious life and in particular for their dedicated service in the formation of the Salesians. The students of theology acknowledged through their different programmes the great contribution that the Jubilarians make at Becchi, Kavarepet. Finally, the celebration ended with a sumptuous lunch.
