A Literary Festival is being held in Sacred Heart College, Tirupattur from 2nd to 9th of April 2022. It is organized by the District Administration of Tirupattur in collaboration with the Sacred Heart College. Thiru. Amar Kushwaha, I.A.S. District Collector of Tirupattur presided over the inauguration of the Literary Festival. Mr. Jeyamohan, the Indian author gave the inaugural talk and declared open the Festival. There are 60 book shops installed in the Campus which contain about 1.5 lakhs books for exhibition and sale. The prime objective of this Literary Festival is to create interest for reading among the people especially the teachers and the students. Every day, three current writers are invited to talk to the students and many different aspects and concerns of the literary style of writing are introduced to them. It is roughly estimated that over fifty thousand students and the people would benefit from this Literary Festival. We heartily congratulate and appreciate the Management, in a very special way Fr. John Alexander, the Rector and the Correspondent and Fr. Maria Antonyraj, the Principal of the Sacred Heart College for their initiative to create a culture of reading among the young.
